The demonstration site is located in Dayin Village, Huanglou Town, Qingzhou City, Weifang City, Shandong Province. The crop ginger is planted. The cultivation method is mother ginger (stem) planting. The demonstration area is 1 mu. The grower Meng Shouzhong planted on April 1. The client is a local farmer with more than 20 years of planting experience. Ginger is one of the main local crops, with extremely high market influence and planting value. Qingzhou City is located in the warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate zone, with a mild climate and four distinct seasons. It is cold and dry in winter, hot and rainy in summer, and moderately warm in spring and autumn. The annual average rainfall is 664 mm, of which 697.6 mm is in the southwestern mountainous area and 638.9 mm in the northern plain. The drought index is low. The annual average temperature in Qingzhou is 12.7°C, the highest year (1961) is 13.5°C, the lowest year (1969) is 11.4°C, July is the highest annual temperature, the annual average is 26.3°C, and the annual average frost-free period is 191.7 days. The annual accumulated temperature above 0°C is 4670°C, and the accumulated temperature above 10°C is 4331.7°C.
